Schools

The goal of the Challenge To Change is to prompt the school community into action and responding to the climate change crisis. During the Challenge To Change project, schools will record their energy use three times a day. This allows the schools to compare usage on a daily basis.

Using online systems, including DETS - Daily Environment Tracking System, developed by CarbonetiX, schools will be tracking and comparing their energy usage during the SET & GO! week. Schools will use the graphs and information provided by the tracking system to communicate the impacts of their school's current energy use on the planet.

Schools can compete in the Challenge To Change ladder to become the most Climate Friendly School and the Most Improved School.
